The Jharkhand High Court on Friday heard a contempt petition related to the alleged tampering of land mutation documents in the Namkum circle area of Ranchi. The matter was taken up by the court of Justice Rajesh Shankar.

During the hearing, the court considered submissions made on behalf of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). After hearing the agency’s stand, the court fixed June 19 as the next date of hearing in the case.

The contempt petition concerns alleged irregularities and manipulation in land mutation records in the Namkum circle. Advocate J.J. Sanga appeared on behalf of the petitioner during the proceedings.
