A. GETTING ASSOCIATED
1. Journalists who write in English language and are interested to report for Bodhi Wire as a partial engagement can apply for membership by filling up this Membership Form.
2. Once approved as a member, a minimum contribution of one story per month is expected from the journalist. Note this is not an employment. This is a service to society with the possibility of earning a side income.
3. There are four different types of membership available — Honorary, Primary, Active and Full Time based on frequency of contribution. Even though Honorary Members contribute one story a month on a voluntary basis, their articles receive top editorial priority for the insight, research and quality they bring. All other member journalists (Primary, Active and Full Time), who complete a full financial year, are eligible for profit partnership as defined in Section B below, and also eligible for joining bonus, press identity card and pension. Only Full Time Members are eligible for leadership positions in different states and across beats. Benefits to different types of members are detailed in the table below.
Benefits based on frequency of contribution (week consisting of five working days):

4. Journalists can write reports under pseudonyms but will be fully answerable for the veracity of the reports and in case of a legal issue related to the report. The week will consist of five working days as per the members choice.
5. Story length should at least be 300 words. Active Members are allowed to write only one story on any given day, and Full Time Members a maximum of two stories on a single day, unless prior approval is taken.
B. PROFIT PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURE
1. Net profit of the Bodhi Wire news agency will be shared equivalently as per individual contribution (based on a Star Rating* detailed below) among all member journalists (except Honorary Members) after the end of each financial year.
2. Apart from usual reporting, every journalist (including Honorary Members) is allowed to get advertisements for the news website and write advertorials for a prescribed fee to be directly deposited in the Bodhi Wire account, of which they will get 50% at the end of the following month.
