Ranchi, November 10: The Jharkhand Congress on Monday sent around 16 lakh signed forms to the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, marking the conclusion of its nationwide “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” campaign.
The drive was launched to highlight alleged irregularities in the voter list and to demand greater transparency in the electoral process.

On the occasion, a specially decorated vehicle carrying the forms was flagged-off from the state Congress office in Ranchi by state party president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh and party in-charge K. Raju. Congress workers from all 81 Assembly constituencies of the state also took part in the event, describing it as a strong message for electoral reforms.
Addressing media persons at the flag-off event, K. Raju said that nearly 16 lakh people from the state have supported the campaign, which is part of a nationwide effort that gathered over five crore signatures. He said these forms will be submitted to the President of India to demand immediate steps for fair and transparent elections.
The campaign, which began on September 15, was originally planned for a month but was later extended by ten days due to the huge public response.
Party leaders said the drive helped raise awareness among citizens about the importance of protecting the democratic process and ensuring every vote counts.
