Two arrested on Vananchal Express with 174 stolen mobile phones worth over ₹58 lakh

In a major operation, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested two individuals with 174 stolen mobile phones aboard the Vananchal Express (traveling from Ranchi to Bhagalpur) at Barharwa Railway Station, which falls under the Malda Railway Division in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district. The total value of the mobile phones is estimated to be around ₹58 lakh. The two arrested youths are reported to be from the Kaliachak area of ​​West Bengal’s Malda district. According to reports, Sanjeev Kumar, Inspector at the RPF post in Barharwa, received a tip-off that two individuals were traveling in the general coach of Train No. 13403 (Up Vananchal Express) carrying a large number of mobile phones suspected to be stolen.
