Ranchi, July 11: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday expressed confidence that the outcomes of the recently concluded two-day National Stakeholders’ Consultation in New Delhi would soon translate into tangible benefits for the state, saying the discussions had laid the foundation for a new phase of inclusive development.
Addressing reporters after the closing session of the consultation, Soren said the event brought together policymakers, government officials, industry leaders, experts, and representatives from various sectors to deliberate on strategies for Jharkhand’s long-term growth.
He said the state, which has historically played a key role in the country’s development through its natural resources, is now focusing on a broader development model that places equal emphasis on its people, culture, and sustainable economic progress.
“The government is committed to ensuring that the interests and aspirations of Jharkhand’s people remain at the centre of every policy decision.
The recommendations received during the consultation will help shape the state’s future development agenda,” the Chief Minister said.
Soren added that the government is working to create an environment that encourages investment, innovation, and employment while ensuring balanced and inclusive growth across the state.
He expressed confidence that the results of the consultation would become visible on the ground in the near future.
On the sidelines of the event, the Chief Minister also launched the Jharkhand MSME Connect Portal, a digital platform aimed at strengthening the state’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector.
The portal will provide entrepreneurs with a single-window platform offering access to government schemes, funding opportunities, training programmes, market linkages, and other industry-related services.
The initiative is expected to simplify access to government support, improve the ease of doing business, and promote entrepreneurship in the state.
Officials said the portal is part of the government’s broader efforts to build a stronger MSME ecosystem, enhance industrial competitiveness, and generate employment opportunities in Jharkhand.
The National Stakeholders’ Consultation concluded in New Delhi after two days of deliberations focused on investment, industrial development, tourism, innovation, and inclusive economic growth, with participation from policymakers, industry representatives, experts, and other stakeholders.
