Ranchi, July 16: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has announced a statewide campaign and protest over recruitment policies, employment concerns, and alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) recruitment process.

The decision was taken during a meeting of BJYM state office-bearers, district presidents, and district in-charges held at the BJP state headquarters in Ranchi.

The meeting was chaired by BJYM State President Shashank Raj.

Discussions focused on employment opportunities for the state’s youth, the recruitment policy, appointment rules, and issues related to the 14th JPSC Combined Civil Services Examination.

The leaders also prepared a roadmap for a statewide democratic agitation aimed at highlighting the concerns of job aspirants.

Addressing party workers, BJP State Organisation General Secretary Karmveer Singh urged them to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and actively raise issues affecting unemployed youth.

BJYM State General Secretary Amar Badhori alleged that the state government had failed to fulfil its promise of introducing a recruitment policy based on the 1932 domicile framework.

He claimed that recruitment continues to rely on older criteria, creating uncertainty among job seekers.Shashank Raj said young people in Jharkhand expect a transparent and fair recruitment system.

He alleged that the absence of a permanent recruitment policy, delays in competitive examinations, and irregularities in the recruitment process have adversely affected the future of thousands of aspirants.

The meeting also expressed concern over increasing migration of youth in search of employment and decided to launch a public awareness campaign across Jharkhand.

BJYM leaders said the organisation would continue its democratic protest demanding transparent recruitment, timely examinations, and protection of the rights of job aspirants.

The meeting was attended by BJYM State In-charge Vinay Jaiswal, along with several state and district-level office-bearers. State General Secretary Manav Dubey conducted the proceedings.
