Ranchi, July 8: Healthcare services in rural Jharkhand received a boost with the inauguration of a newly constructed Health Sub-Centre-cum-Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Kyongsar village under Rugutkela Panchayat of Murhu block in Khunti district.
The facility was jointly inaugurated by Member of Parliament Kalicharan Munda and the Civil Surgeon of Khunti in the presence of local residents, healthcare workers and public representatives.
During the ceremony, the Civil Surgeon presented saplings to the health staff as a symbol of environmental conservation and urged them to ensure that the new health centre is fully equipped with all essential medical facilities.
He emphasized that the government’s objective is to provide quality healthcare services to people living in remote rural areas, reducing the need to travel long distances for medical treatment.
The newly inaugurated Ayushman Arogya Mandir is expected to offer a range of primary healthcare services, including outpatient care, maternal and child health services, immunisation, and other essential medical facilities for nearby villages.
