Jamshedpur, September 22: India’s XLRI – Xavier School of Management signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with renewable energy firm Ecoren Energy India Pvt. Ltd. on Monday to deepen industry-academia collaboration and build future-ready management talent.
The agreement, signed at XLRI’s Jamshedpur campus, aims to foster joint research, training and student engagement, the institutions said in a statement.
The partnership will focus on developing live case studies in sustainability, digital transformation and energy strategy, launching collaborative research projects in energy management and technology, and designing specialized training and consulting programmes tailored to industry needs. It will also create structured recruitment pathways for XLRI’s business management and human resources students, along with CXO-level talks and interactive sessions.

Ecoren’s Head of HR and Technology, Dr. Swamy Reddy Uradi, said the tie-up would give the company access to top management talent while advancing research and innovation in the sector.
The MoU signing was attended by senior XLRI faculty members and representatives from Ecoren, including Mr. Ramesh Nethi and Mrs. Lalitha Rani Nissankararao.
XLRI, one of India’s oldest business schools, said the milestone reflects its mission of nurturing responsible leaders with values of excellence and integrity while fostering partnerships that serve the greater good.
