Jamshedpur, July 8: XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, on Tuesday hosted the fourth edition of its flagship digital transformation conclave, ReEnvision 4.0, under the theme “The Digital Imperative: Building, Leading, and Sustaining Transformation.” The event convened senior industry executives, technologists, and academic leaders to explore evolving strategies for navigating the digital era.
Inaugurating the conclave, XLRI Dean Academics Dr. Sanjay K. Patro, alongside Prof. Sunil Sarangi, CEO of XCEED and Co-Convenor – Placements, and Assistant Professor Dr. Himanshu Shekhar, emphasized the importance of organizational agility. Prof. Sarangi highlighted the relevance of the Agile and Digital Transformation Manifestos in building adaptable and empathetic leadership models.
The event featured three themed panel discussions led by business and technology leaders.
The first panel, “Transforming Business Landscapes with Digital Technologies,” brought together Vikas Srivastava (CTO, Club Mahindra), Mehjabeen Taj Aalam (CDIO, Raychem RPG), Priti Saini (Former Director, LTIMindtree), and Raman Srinivasan (CDO, InMobi Group). Speakers stressed the need for digital transformation to be grounded in user-centric design, driven by empathy, and aligned with purpose.
In the second panel, “Leading in the Age of AI – Managing People in Tech-First Organizations,” participants discussed the integration of ethical AI with leadership. Panelists included Lokesh Natoo (Altus Group), Bhabani Maharana (Oracle), Sivakumar Nandipati (Fedbank Financial Services), Shaon Sengupta (Kyndryl), Rohit Kilam (HDFC Life), and Gaurav Sharma (ITC Ltd). They underscored the enduring role of human intuition and the need for empathetic leadership in AI-driven environments.
The final panel, “Data Centers: The Heart of Digital Transformation,” focused on the role of modern data infrastructure. Panelists Manish Kumar (Adani Healthcare), Chiradeep Bhattacharya (Genpact), Vipin Gupta (Allstate India), and Rajeevan Kallumpuram (NSE) explored issues from edge computing to cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, highlighting data centers as core to digital resilience.
The conclave was organized by Mr. Ashish Pal and Ms. Anshu Kumari from XLRI’s Corporate Relations and Placement Office, with student moderators Harshita Mahendra, Paloma Fernandes, and Tejesh Itha. The organizing committee included Shruti Wani, Komal Hussain, Eti Agarwal, Rohit Singh, Nikhil Kadam, and Nityanand Singh. Hosting duties were carried out by Shivangi Gupta, Vikhyaat Nayyar, Palak Agarwal, and Yash Gaidhani.
In his closing remarks, Prof. Sarangi urged participants to apply the learnings from the conclave to drive responsible and effective digital change. ReEnvision 4.0, he said, reinforced XLRI’s vision of nurturing technology-driven leaders who integrate ethics, innovation, and empathy.
