Indore, Dec 29: Ceigall India on Monday said it has secured an infrastructure order worth over ₹1,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh. In a statement, the company said its arm, Ceigall Infra Projects Private Ltd, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Ltd (MPRDC) for the construction of the Indore–Ujjain Greenfield (access-controlled) four-lane highway.
The project, with an estimated cost of about ₹1,089 crore, will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) and is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the date of appointment.
The awarded work involves the development of a 48.10-kilometre access-controlled highway, including the strategically important Simhastha bypass. The project is aimed at improving regional connectivity, reducing traffic congestion and ensuring safer and faster travel between Indore and Ujjain, two of Madhya Pradesh’s key economic and religious centres.
Commenting on the development, Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ceigall India, said the Indore–Ujjain Greenfield Highway is a strategically significant infrastructure project for the state. “We look forward to delivering this project with a strong focus on safety, durability and timely execution,” he said.
The company said the project will play a critical role in enhancing access to major economic and religious hubs in Madhya Pradesh and further strengthens Ceigall India’s order book in the roads and highways segment.
Ceigall India is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company engaged in executing specialised infrastructure projects, including highways, expressways, elevated roads, flyovers, bridges, railway overbridges, tunnels and runways. The company added that the new order aligns with its long-term vision of contributing to India’s infrastructure growth through modern, sustainable and future-ready transportation corridors.
