Patna, Aug 1: Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi on Friday called for strict action against those involved in question paper leaks and organised cheating, saying such activities threaten the future of students and undermine the credibility of competitive examinations.
Saraogi said paper leaks should not be viewed merely as an examination-related issue, as they affect the aspirations of young people and the confidence of their families.He said students spend years preparing for competitive examinations and deserve a fair and transparent system in which success is determined by merit, ability and hard work.
“Incidents such as paper leaks and organised cheating can discourage sincere candidates and weaken public trust in the examination process,” he said.
The BJP leader stressed the need for stronger measures to prevent examination malpractice and identify the networks involved in such illegal activities. He said those found responsible should face strict legal action.
Saraogi also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the initiatives aimed at strengthening opportunities for young people and supporting their future.He said the government should continue working to ensure that honest and hardworking students receive equal opportunities and are able to progress on the basis of their talent and merit.
The remarks come amid continued concerns over examination irregularities, with demands for stronger monitoring, improved security systems and stricter action against those involved in paper leaks and other forms of organised cheating.
