Ranchi, Oct 14: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), a Mini-Ratna company and subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HLL Lifecare Limited, a Government of India enterprise, to set up, operate and maintain an ‘AMRIT Pharmacy’ at its headquarters in Ranchi.
The initiative aims to provide affordable medicines and allied healthcare products to CMPDIL employees, their dependents and the general public.
The MoU was signed by Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (HR), on behalf of CMPDIL, and Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Deputy General Manager and Regional Manager (Retail Business Division), on behalf of HLL Lifecare Limited. The signing took place in the presence of Chaudhari Shivraj Singh, CMD, CMPDI, and other dignitaries.
The pharmacy will supply medicines, surgical items, implants and other related healthcare products within the CMPDIL premises, ensuring convenient access to essential healthcare products at affordable prices.
The establishment of the AMRIT Pharmacy reflects CMPDIL’s commitment to employee welfare and social responsibility. The initiative is expected to improve healthcare convenience for employees and their families while extending its benefits to the wider community.
