Ranchi, Sept 16 : The Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (JIIDCO) organised the ‘Tally Startup Collective , Ranchi Chapter’ on Wednesday as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s startup and innovation ecosystem.
More than 75 startup founders from different parts of Jharkhand participated in the event, which aimed to connect emerging entrepreneurs with investors, mentors and industry experts.
JIIDCO General Manager Sanjay Kumar Sahu and Startup Jharkhand Chief Enabler Shubham Raj highlighted the importance of institutional support, industry linkages and a strong network for promoting startups and innovation-led entrepreneurship in the state.
The programme provided entrepreneurs with an opportunity to interact with experts on areas including investment readiness, business expansion, pitching strategies and developing long-term relationships with investors.Gautam Chakraborty, AGM, Product Excellence, Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd, shared insights on technology and business solutions relevant to startups.
Sessions on investment and funding featured A Square Capital Managing Director Chahat Agrawal, VC Grid’s Kumar Dheeraj and angel investor and Mission Blue Foundation representative Pankaj Soni. Vijay Bawra, VP-Growth at SanchiConnect, also participated in the programme.
Five startups get one-on-one investor pitch opportunity
A key feature of the event was the 1:1 Investor Pitch Session, during which founders of five selected Jharkhand-based startups presented their business models and growth plans directly to investors.
The founders also received feedback on their ventures and had an opportunity to discuss potential areas of investment and collaboration.
The event further facilitated networking among startup founders, investors, mentors and other stakeholders in the ecosystem.
The programme was organised with the participation of Tally Solutions, SanchiConnect, Startup Jharkhand and JIIDCO, providing a common platform for interaction between the government, industry, investors and the startup community.
JIIDCO is working to promote industrial development while creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship and innovation in Jharkhand. Such initiatives are aimed at strengthening links between startups, industry experts and investors and supporting the development of the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
