New Delhi, July 31 : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) sharing details of the meeting through an official post on social media.
The meeting took place in the national capital as part of the Chief Minister’s visit to New Delhi. While the PMO confirmed the meeting, it did not disclose the agenda or issues discussed between the two leaders.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister’s Office said, “Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.”

Although no official statement was issued on the outcome of the meeting, interactions between the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers are often held to review the implementation of Central schemes, discuss state-specific development priorities, infrastructure projects, welfare initiatives and other governance-related matters.
The meeting assumes significance as the Centre and the Chhattisgarh government continue to work on key issues, including infrastructure development, tribal welfare, rural development, investment promotion, internal security and the implementation of flagship Central government programmes in the state.
Officials, however, said no further details regarding the discussions were immediately available.
More information on the meeting is expected once either the Prime Minister’s Office or the Chhattisgarh government issues an official statement.
