Mumbai, July 25: Actor Salman Khan has shared a cryptic message on social media, drawing fresh attention amid the ongoing online debate surrounding his recent remarks on the protests over the alleged NEET examination paper leak.In his latest post, Salman wrote the phrase, “Jo darr gaya, vo mar gaya,” without mentioning any individual or issue.
The message quickly sparked speculation among social media users, many of whom linked it to the criticism he has faced over his earlier comments on the student protests.
Earlier this week, the actor had expressed support for students raising concerns over the alleged examination irregularities while urging them to return home after the Prime Minister assured strict action against those responsible for the alleged paper leak.
He stated that the safety and education of students should remain a priority and expressed confidence that the authorities would address the matter.
Salman also appealed to social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who had been observing a hunger strike in support of the students’ demands, urging him to end his fast and take care of his health.
Wangchuk later concluded his fast, although demonstrations demanding educational reforms continued in several places. The actor’s earlier remarks generated mixed reactions online.
While some users appreciated his appeal for calm and confidence in the investigation, others criticised his comments, arguing that the students’ concerns should continue to receive public attention until concrete action is taken.
Salman’s latest post has further fueled discussion across social media platforms, with users offering differing interpretations of its meaning.
However, the actor has not issued any clarification regarding the context of the message. The controversy comes as the alleged NEET paper leak and the demand for greater transparency and accountability in the examination system continue to remain key issues in the ongoing public discourse.
