Patna, July 25: Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) chief Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday appealed to Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke to visit Bihar and join what he described as a broader public movement over the state’s political situation.
In a post on social media, Tej Pratap said Bihar required a strong people’s movement and urged Dipke to come to the state and raise public issues.
He also called for a democratic campaign against the state government, claiming that a united movement was necessary to address the concerns of the people.
The JJD leader said his party and its supporters would extend full cooperation to any peaceful and democratic initiative aimed at protecting public interests. He added that his party was prepared to work alongside those seeking political and administrative change in the state.
The appeal came amid heightened political activity following recent protests over the alleged NEET examination paper leak, which have sparked demonstrations and political debate in several parts of the country.
There was no immediate response from Abhijeet Dipke regarding the invitation. The Bihar government has also not issued any official statement on Tej Pratap Yadav’s remarks.
Political observers view the development as an attempt to broaden the ongoing public discourse beyond the education issue and bring wider governance-related concerns into the political debate.
