Ranchi, July 9: The Congress on Wednesday held a review meeting at the Ranchi Press Club to assess the party’s organisational preparedness and chart its strategy for upcoming political challenges in Jharkhand.
The meeting reviewed the party’s performance in the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency and assessed the progress of ongoing organisational programmes across the state. Leaders also discussed measures to further strengthen the Congress organisation at the grassroots level.
A key focus of the deliberations was the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Party leaders urged Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and Congress workers to remain alert during the exercise to ensure that no eligible voter’s name is left out of the electoral rolls.
“Party workers, and especially BLAs, need to be especially vigilant to ensure that no eligible voter’s name is left out during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Jharkhand,” Congress leaders said.
The meeting also discussed the party’s roadmap to enhance organisational outreach and prepare for the political challenges ahead in the state.
