London, April 29 – U.S. fashion brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger have joined the retail lineup at the upcoming Cotswolds Designer Outlet, the latest addition to the UK’s outlet retail sector, developers said on Monday.
The multi-million-pound retail destination, backed by regional developer Robert Hitchins Ltd and retail operator Multi-Realm, is due to open in July 2025 and is currently in the shop-fitting phase, as brands prepare their individual stores.
The outlet, located in the heart of the Cotswolds, is the only major new designer outlet opening in the UK this year. Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger will join an expanding roster that includes global names such as BOSS, Levi’s, GUESS, Adidas, M&S, and Sweaty Betty.
“This is a particularly important milestone in the build programme,” said Simon Tothill, property and development director at Robert Hitchins. “With only a few weeks until opening, our teams are working to fine tune what will be the go-to shopping destination for visitors from near and far.”
Retail brands including Rituals, Tefal, The Perfume Shop, and ProCook are also preparing to open at the site. Food and beverage operators such as Wagamama, Five Guys, Zizzi, Pret a Manger, and Caffè Nero are set to complement the offering. Gloucestershire-based KNEAD Bakery will open its first outlet location at the site.
Christine Grace, leasing director at Multi-Realm, said strong interest from both national and international brands has already brought forward plans for a second phase of development, expected to add around 50,000 square feet of additional retail space.
The developers said the centre is already close to being fully let for Phase One, which they see as a sign of retailer confidence in the long-term potential of outlet retail destinations that offer a modern, experiential shopping environment.
