Ranchi, Jan 22: A final-year mechanical engineering student at Usha Martin University has secured an international job offer with Danish renewable energy company Ørsted in Poland, with an annual pay package of Rs 34 lakh ($37,000), the university said.

The offer, made to B.Tech student Bipul Anand Kumar, is among the highest overseas packages received by the university so far and reflects its sustained focus on industry-aligned education.
The university also reported strong domestic placement outcomes across disciplines during the current recruitment cycle. Engineering graduates were hired by firms including SparkIT, Concentrix, Outer Orbit, Infinite Net Solutions and Q-Spider, while diploma students received offers from TVS Training and Services and GE Aerospace.

Management students secured roles with companies such as SparkIT, Tenhard, SARV Education and Rinex, the university said. In the health sciences stream, more than 300 students were placed in internships and clinical postings, providing hands-on training and professional exposure.
The university said the results underscore steady progress in both global and domestic employability across disciplines.
