Ranchi, June 14: Former Vice Chancellor of Sido-Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka, Dr. Sonajharia Minz met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Kanke Road, Ranchi. During the meeting, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Minz on her appointment as Co-Chairperson of UNESCO.
Chief Minister Soren expressed confidence that Dr. Minz, in her new role, will strengthen global awareness and support for crucial aspects of tribal language, culture, and heritage. He added that on behalf of the people of Jharkhand, especially the tribal community, he offers his best wishes. The Chief Minister stated that this achievement is a matter of great pride for the state’s tribal communities, as her work will help bring tribal issues, their right to self-determination, and indigenous knowledge systems to the global stage.
