Ranchi, May 18: Jharkahnd Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached his ancestral village Nemra in Ramgarh district with his family today.
He paid tribute to his family member Jagdish Soren who passed away on Saturday by offering a wreath on his mortal remains.
The Chief Minister prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and also participated in the last journey and funeral rites.
Late Jagdish Soren was the uncle of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and cousin of Rajya Sabha MP Dishom Guru Shibu Soren. He passed away on 17 May 2025. He left behind two sons, a daughter and a full family.
Hemant Soren was accompanied by his wife and Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren and mother Rupi Soren.
