Nalanda, July 31: A newly opened café near the Hilsa bypass in Bihar’s Nalanda district has become an internet sensation after its unconventional name — “Cockroach Cafe” — sparked widespread curiosity and a flood of humorous reactions on social media.
The café, which reportedly opened on July 27, has quickly emerged as a popular hangout for youngsters, many of whom are visiting the establishment to create social media reels and experience the much-talked-about venue.
The café’s name has attracted attention amid the recent buzz surrounding the term “cockroach” following the emergence of the “Cockroach Janata Party (CJP),” with many internet users sharing jokes and memes linking the eatery’s branding to the trending phrase.
Despite its quirky name, the café offers a modern ambience with a black-themed interior, yellow hanging lights, decorative artificial vines and flowers, and comfortable sofa seating.
