The day also saw the launch of two major initiatives. The Protean Resource Center — a high-tech Skills Lab — was inaugurated to enhance hands-on learning. According to the school, Loyola is the first in India to house such advanced educational infrastructure.

In a parallel initiative, the Loyola Alumni Association organised a blood donation camp. Fr. Vinod Fernandes led by example, donating blood and encouraging others in the school community to participate.
The school also marked a milestone as it celebrated the Silver Jubilee of priesthood of Fr. K.M. Joseph. Additionally, the annual school magazine The Loyolean was released, showcasing students’ creative and academic contributions. The celebrations concluded with a lunch hosted by the priests for teachers and support staff. Loyola School expressed gratitude to all attendees and contributors, calling the event a celebration of “faith, excellence, and community.”
