2 beaten to death after drunken brawl

Ranchi, June 8: Drunken brawl led to two people being beaten to death in Ligirpath village of Chainpur police station in Gumla.

The deceased include Sukhdev Munda (55 years) and Budhram Munda, while Chhote Munda is injured. The police took both the bodies into custody and sent them to Gumla hospital for postmortem. The accused Chhote Munda has been arrested by the police.

The daughter of the deceased Sukhdev Munda, Jatri Munda, has filed an FIR by submitting a written application in the Chainpur police station. Jatri Munda has told that on Saturday her father Sukhdev Munda (55 years) had gone to the forest for a picnic with Chhote Munda and Budhram Munda of the same village.

All three had consumed liquor. After drinking liquor, the three had an argument over something. In which Chhote Munda beat Sukhram Munda and Budhram Munda with a stick and injured them. Due to which both died. Chhote Munda was also injured in this fight. Accused Chhote Munda told the police that Sukhdev Munda and Budhram Munda were abusing him. So he killed both of them. Police have arrested Chhote Munda.
