Ranchi, Sep 24: A two-member team visited Government School, Mesra, on Thursday as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 and sensitised students about honesty, integrity and positive values.
The programme aimed to promote a culture of integrity and ethical values among students. Despite rain and the festive atmosphere associated with Karma, students participated enthusiastically in various activities organised during the campaign.
As many as 41 students participated in a speech competition, while 40 students took part in an essay-writing competition, sharing their views on honesty and prosperity.
Students were told that honesty and integrity are not merely words but values that need to be practised in everyday life.
As part of the awareness programme, teachers and students jointly planted two saplings to give a practical dimension to the campaign’s message. Teachers planted the “Tree of Honesty”, while students planted the “Tree of Prosperity”.
The tree-planting activity sought to connect the values of honesty, responsibility and prosperity with environmental conservation and collective responsibility.
“Honesty and integrity are not merely words but values that should be practised in everyday life,” the programme conveyed.
The initiative combined value-based awareness with environmental activities, encouraging students to carry the message of integrity and responsibility into their daily lives.
