Ranchi, Sept 18: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has introduced a new online platform aimed at simplifying the submission and tracking of medical reimbursement claims for its retired employees and their dependants.
The CPRMSE/NE Portal 2.0 was launched on September 10 at the Manthan Auditorium of CCL’s Darbhanga House in Ranchi by Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh in the presence of Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar.
The new system will enable retired employees to submit medical treatment and reimbursement-related documents online without having to visit CCL offices. Beneficiaries can access the portal using their mobile numbers registered with the CPRMS system.
The platform also provides an online mechanism for tracking the status of medical claims, allowing beneficiaries to follow the progress of their applications more conveniently.
Medical reimbursement cases generally involve several CCL departments, including PRB, CMS/Medical and Finance. The new portal facilitates electronic movement and processing of claims among these departments, with the aim of improving transparency and monitoring.
CCL said the portal has been developed internally by its Systems Department in coordination with the concerned departments.
The initiative forms part of the company’s efforts to expand digital services and reduce dependence on paper-based processes.
Speaking at the launch, Singh said the use of digital technology can help provide more convenient and transparent services to employees and their dependants. He also emphasised the importance of continuing welfare-oriented services for retired employees.
CCL General Manager, C.C. & P.R., Alok Kumar, said the initiative seeks to provide retired employees and their dependants with a more accessible medical claim process and reflects the organisation’s focus on combining technology with employee welfare.
The company said the portal is expected to make the medical reimbursement process more convenient for retired employees while improving the flow and monitoring of claims within the organisation.
