Ranchi, Sep 15: Tulsi Patel was on Tuesday unanimously elected president of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) for the 2026-27 session, as the newly elected executive committee finalised its office-bearers.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the new executive committee held at the Chamber Bhawan under the chairmanship of election officers Anchal Kinger and Pawan Sharma.Vikas Vijayvargiya and Rohit Poddar were elected vice presidents, while Rohit Agrawal was chosen as general secretary.
Amit Sharma and Pooja Dhada will serve as joint secretaries, and Navjot Alang was appointed treasurer.Following his election, Patel thanked members of Jharkhand’s trade and industrial community for their support.
He said the new team would work to strengthen the Chamber and make it more effective in addressing issues concerning traders, entrepreneurs and professionals.Patel also paid tribute to the organisation’s founding president, late Rai Bahadur Harak Chand Jain, and founding secretary, late A.R. Budhia.
He said their vision and efforts had helped establish the Chamber as an important platform representing the interests of the state’s business community.
The new president said the Chamber would give priority to issues affecting the business and professional sectors and seek coordinated solutions through engagement with the government and administration.
After the meeting, election officers formally handed over charge to Patel and the newly elected office-bearers.Several executive committee members attended the meeting, along with outgoing president Aditya Malhotra.
