Ranchi, September 9: A condolence meeting was held at the FFP Building in Ranchi on Wednesday to remember late Jharkhand minister Sudivya Kumar, with government officials and employees paying tribute to his public service and contributions to the state.
The programme was organised at 5 pm at the building’s meeting hall and was attended by officials and staff of the Department of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, along with employees from various other departments functioning from the Project Building.
Those present offered floral tributes before the portrait of the deceased minister and observed the occasion in a solemn atmosphere.A special video highlighting Sudivya Kumar’s life, public service and contribution to Jharkhand was screened during the programme.
The presentation recalled various aspects of his public life and his commitment to development and public welfare.
Speakers at the meeting remembered the late minister as a simple and accessible person who remained committed to serving the people.
They described his untimely death as a major loss to the state and recalled his efforts towards public service and development.The programme concluded with prayers for the peace of the departed soul.
The officials and employees also conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them during the period of grief.
