New Delhi, September 3: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Thursday inaugurated a new building at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, marking another milestone in the hospital chain’s 25-year public service journey.
The newly opened facility is expected to expand the hospital’s advanced healthcare infrastructure and increase its capacity to provide specialised medical services to patients.During the event, Shah highlighted the hospital chain’s contribution to providing free medical care.
According to his statement, around 3.60 lakh people received advanced medical services worth approximately ₹244 crore free of cost during the previous year.Shah said the new facility would help expand such services and enable a larger number of people to access advanced healthcare.
The expansion is expected to strengthen the hospital’s medical infrastructure and support the delivery of specialised treatment and diagnostic services.
The inauguration comes as part of efforts by the hospital chain to expand its healthcare facilities and extend medical services to a wider section of society.
The new building is expected to benefit patients requiring advanced medical care while further supporting the hospital’s public-service initiatives.
