Ranchi, Aug 24: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched TCS ADD AgentHub, an enterprise-ready agentic AI platform designed to help pharmaceutical companies scale artificial intelligence across drug development and pharmacovigilance while meeting regulatory and audit requirements.
The platform enables pharma companies to build and deploy role-based AI agents across clinical development and drug safety workflows, with defined human oversight and built-in auditability. TCS said the framework addresses challenges arising from fragmented systems, growing data volumes and increasingly stringent regulatory expectations.
Built on the TCS ADD agentic AI architecture, AgentHub supports a “Human + AI Operating Model”, where AI agents work alongside human teams while people retain responsibility for governance and decision-making.
TCS said solutions powered by the platform have demonstrated up to 40% efficiency gains in clinical data management, a 30% reduction in clinical study build effort and up to 30% cost savings in end-to-end safety case processing. AI-powered safety agents can also cut quality-control effort by as much as 50%.
The platform includes AI workers for functions such as individual case safety report intake, data entry, coding, review and literature analysis, as well as study design, protocol digitisation, clinical data review, SDTM transformation and medical monitoring assistance.

TCS said AgentHub’s evolving catalogue of AI agents can be deployed progressively with minimal integration and implementation effort, allowing pharmaceutical companies to improve productivity while enabling scientific teams to focus on higher-value activities.
