A recently shared aerial view of the city highlights wide and well-maintained roads, new buildings and increasing commercial activity, reflecting the changing landscape of the historic town.The development of the 127-kilometre Patna–Gaya–Dobhi road corridor has significantly improved connectivity between Patna and Gaya.
The upgraded route has reduced travel time between the two cities to around 90 minutes, making journeys more convenient for residents, tourists and pilgrims.Bodh Gaya is home to the Mahabodhi Temple and attracts visitors from India and several other countries throughout the year.
