Bihar woman found dead in trolley bag in Daman; live-in partner sought

Nawada, Aug 5: A woman from Bihar’s Nawada district was found dead with her body allegedly concealed inside a trolley bag in Daman, police said. Her live-in partner is suspected of involvement and is currently being traced.The deceased has been identified as Chhoti Kumari.

According to police and her family, she was married when she entered into a relationship with Rishabh Kumar. Around two years ago, she reportedly left her husband and moved away with Rishabh despite opposition from her family.Following her disappearance, the family lodged a complaint regarding her missing status and alleged that she had been taken away.

However, she did not return home.The couple later moved to Daman, where they reportedly rented accommodation and began living together.The case came to light after police received information about the recovery of a woman’s body from inside a trolley bag.

During the investigation, the deceased was identified as Chhoti Kumari, a resident of Nawada district.Family members alleged that Chhoti and Rishabh had an argument and claimed that Rishabh killed her before placing her body inside the trolley bag in an alleged attempt to conceal or dispose of it.

These allegations are being examined as part of the investigation.Rishabh Kumar was not found after the recovery of the body, and police have launched a search operation to trace him.Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and are working to establish the sequence of events.

The exact cause of death and the motive behind the suspected murder have not yet been confirmed.Police are expected to rely on the post-mortem report, forensic findings, witness statements and other evidence to determine how and when the woman died.Further investigation is underway.
