Giridih, July 24 : Jharkhand-based agricultural entrepreneur and Sansar Green founder Rajeev Singh has received national recognition for his innovative ‘Soil to Market’ agricultural model during the Prime Minister Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PM-RKVY)-supported National Agri Startup Investment and Evaluation Programme held at the Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS-NIAM) in Jaipur.
Representing Jharkhand, Singh was among 18 selected agri startups from across the country that showcased their innovations and business models before a panel comprising agricultural scientists, industry experts, investors and members of the national evaluation committee.
The ‘Soil to Market’ model aims to provide farmers with an integrated agricultural services platform, covering soil testing, organic and microbial farm inputs, AI-based crop advisory, quality planting material, farmer training, digital services, e-commerce support and direct market linkages.
According to Singh, the initiative is designed to reduce cultivation costs, improve productivity and ensure sustainable growth in farmers’ incomes by bringing multiple agricultural services together under one platform.
The evaluation panel included PM-RKVY Secretary R.R. Meena, agricultural scientist Dr. A.K. Singh, CCS-NIAM’s Dr. Ravi Goyal, along with several experts and investors from the agriculture sector.
Experts appreciated the model for integrating scientific research, modern technology, digital platforms and market access into a comprehensive ecosystem that supports farmers from cultivation to sale of produce.
Singh said his objective is not only to provide agricultural products but also to equip farmers with modern technologies, scientific solutions, better market access and improved income opportunities.
He expressed confidence that the model, developed in Jharkhand, has the potential to benefit farmers across other states and contribute to strengthening India’s agricultural value chain.
