Ranchi, July 17: Tega Industries Chairman Madan Mohan Mohanka on Thursday said that patience is the cornerstone of every successful enterprise, urging aspiring entrepreneurs to develop resilience, confidence, and a long-term vision to achieve sustainable success.

Addressing students and faculty during a special interactive session at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi, Mohanka shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey and highlighted the importance of perseverance in overcoming business challenges.

Reflecting on his experiences, he said that no successful business is built overnight.

According to him, determination, self-belief, strategic thinking, and the support of a committed team are essential ingredients for building a strong and sustainable enterprise.

Recalling his student days at IIM Ahmedabad, Mohanka said that the most valuable lessons in life are often learned beyond the classroom through self-experience, self-reflection, and continuous effort.

He encouraged students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to remain committed to lifelong learning.

The veteran industrialist also spoke about leadership, emphasizing that effective leaders inspire trust, empower their teams, and maintain a clear vision even during difficult times.

He advised future entrepreneurs to remain patient and adaptable while pursuing their professional goals.

Speaking at the event, IIM Ranchi Director Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava said the institution aims to equip students with the ability to create value for society through quality management education.

He added that interactions with experienced industry leaders provide students with practical knowledge that complements classroom learning and prepares them for real-world challenges.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where students engaged with Mohanka on entrepreneurship, leadership, and career development.

The programme highlighted the significance of resilience, continuous learning, and ethical leadership in building successful businesses and creating lasting value.
