Ranchi, July 17: Miss Universe Jharkhand 2026 winner Deepali Riya paid a courtesy visit to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Kanke Road here on Thursday, where the Chief Minister congratulated the beauty queen on her achievement and wished her continued success.
During the meeting, Deepali, a resident of Bokaro district, shared her journey to winning the Miss Universe Jharkhand 2026 title, which was held in Ranchi on March 29, highlighting the dedication and perseverance that went into her preparation.
“I worked tirelessly for over a year, preparing through ramp walk training, grooming classes and interview sessions to achieve this milestone,” Deepali said while interacting with the Chief Minister.
Congratulating the titleholder, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said, “Congratulations to Deepali Riya on winning the Miss Universe Jharkhand 2026 title. I wish her a bright future.”
The Chief Minister lauded Deepali’s accomplishment, saying it had brought recognition to both the state and her home district.
“By winning the Miss Universe Jharkhand 2026 crown, Deepali Riya has brought honour to Jharkhand and the entire Bokaro district,” Soren said.
Expressing confidence that her success would motivate young aspirants, the Chief Minister added, “Her success will inspire other contestants in the future.”
Soren also emphasised the state’s growing pool of talent, stating that “Jharkhand is a state rich in talent, and its contestants have brought honour to the state on numerous occasions.”
The meeting reflected the state government’s encouragement of young achievers who have brought laurels to Jharkhand in diverse fields, with Deepali’s achievement being hailed as an inspiration for aspiring contestants across the state.
