Ranchi, July 13: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will begin a series of department-wise review meetings at the Jharkhand Secretariat from Monday to assess the functioning and progress of key government departments.
The meetings are aimed at reviewing the implementation of ongoing development projects, welfare schemes, and administrative performance.
According to the revised schedule issued by the state government, the dates and timings of some review meetings have been partially modified in view of official government programmes being held in New Delhi.
As per the updated itinerary, the Chief Minister will review the Higher and Technical Education Department on July 13, followed by the Road Construction Department on July 15.
Reviews of the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Department are scheduled for July 17, while the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department will be reviewed on July 20.
On July 22, the Chief Minister will chair review meetings of the Information Technology and e-Governance Department and the Information and Public Relations Department.
Review meetings for the remaining departments will be conducted in subsequent phases as per the revised programme.
The review exercise is expected to focus on the implementation of government schemes, progress of infrastructure and development projects, resolution of pending issues, and measures to improve administrative efficiency and public service delivery across departments.
Officials are also expected to present updates on key initiatives and discuss strategies to accelerate the pace of development in the state.
