Gurugram, Mar 30: BML Munjal University has launched a Master of Arts (MA) programme in Public Policy, aimed at equipping students with the skills required for effective policymaking and governance.
The university said the programme is designed to provide a practical understanding of public policy, combining academic learning with real-world exposure.
It seeks to enable participants to engage with complex policy challenges and decision-making processes while fostering a more participatory and practice-oriented policy ecosystem.
According to the institution, the course will focus on developing analytical, research, and leadership capabilities among students, preparing them for roles in government, think tanks, international organisations, and the private sector.
Named after the late founder chairman of the Hero Group, Brij Mohan Lal Munjal, the university is a not-for-profit initiative established by the group’s promoters.
It aims to deliver globally benchmarked education through a forward-looking approach to teaching, learning, and research.
The university said it has been working towards transforming higher education in India by promoting innovation and nurturing future leaders and change-makers.
Its School of Management has been ranked among the top 100 management institutions in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework for the past five years.
In the Careers360 B-School Rankings 2025, the school secured the third position in Haryana and was ranked 55th nationally.
The university has also been ranked fifth in India and first in Haryana among top private engineering and technology universities in the Education World India Higher Education Rankings 2024–25.
It is accredited with an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
Officials said the new programme reflects the university’s continued focus on strengthening interdisciplinary education and addressing emerging policy challenges in India and beyond.
