Jamshedpur, India, December 19: XLRI – Xavier School of Management, India’s oldest business school, has opened admissions for two flagship executive education programmes aimed at senior business leaders and professionals working in corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

The programmes — the Executive Diploma in Advanced Business Strategies for CXOs (Batch 3) and the Post Graduate Certificate in CSR Leadership (PGCCSRL) — will be delivered through XLRI’s Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) platform, the institute said.

The Executive Diploma in Advanced Business Strategies for CXOs is designed for senior professionals and aspiring C-suite executives with at least 10 years of work experience. XLRI said previous batches attracted participants with an average experience of 17–18 years from a wide range of industries.

The programme focuses on enterprise-wide decision-making and leadership in areas such as corporate finance and valuation, artificial intelligence strategy, corporate governance, strategic leadership, entrepreneurship and new venture creation. It aims to prepare executives to manage challenges arising from digital transformation, regulatory changes and global competition.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will be awarded an executive diploma and will be eligible for XLRI alumni status, subject to meeting academic requirements.

Alongside the CXO programme, XLRI has also invited applications for the Post Graduate Certificate in CSR Leadership, which targets CSR professionals, development sector practitioners, corporate managers and sustainability leaders.

The CSR programme is designed to address the growing importance of responsible business practices, environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration and social impact governance. Its curriculum covers CSR strategy, policy and law, stakeholder engagement, programme design and evaluation, sustainability frameworks and ethical leadership.

XLRI said the two programmes reflect its long-standing focus on developing responsible leaders by combining strategic management education with ethical and social responsibility.

Founded more than seven decades ago, XLRI has built a strong executive education portfolio and is widely regarded for its emphasis on academic rigour, practical relevance and values-based leadership.
