World, Feb 28: Samsung Electronics has officially opened preorders for its latest true wireless earbuds, the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro, with both models set to launch on March 11.Customers who preorder through Amazon on or before March 10 will receive promotional incentives. Buyers of the standard Galaxy Buds4 will receive a $20 Amazon gift card, while those opting for the Pro version will receive a $30 gift card.Shared Features Across the LineupBoth models arrive with a refreshed design aimed at improving in-ear comfort and long-term wearability. Samsung has equipped the earbuds with six microphones to enhance active noise cancellation (ANC) and improve voice clarity during calls. The Buds4 series supports high-resolution audio streaming over Bluetooth and offers 360-degree audio with head tracking, designed to create a more immersive listening experience.Samsung has also integrated its Galaxy AI functionality into both models.
Users can access voice-based assistance hands-free, allowing them to ask questions or control certain functions without touching their smartphones.Pro Model Brings Enhanced Audio and Noise ControlWhile the two earbuds share many core features, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro introduces several upgrades. The Pro model features a two-way dynamic driver system with a dedicated woofer and tweeter, compared with the single 11mm dynamic driver in the standard Buds4. This setup is intended to deliver deeper bass and clearer highs. The Buds4 Pro also include Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation 2.0, which automatically adjusts noise reduction levels based on surrounding sounds.
Durability is another area of difference. The Buds4 carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, while the Pro version is rated IP57, offering greater protection against water exposure. These ratings apply to the earbuds themselves, not the charging case.Battery life sees a slight boost on the Pro model as well. The standard Buds4 provide up to five hours of playback per charge, with a total of 24 hours using the charging case. The Buds4 Pro extend that to six hours per charge and up to 26 hours overall with the case.Live Translation and AI IntegrationOne standout feature available on both models is live translation, which works through Samsung’s companion smartphone app on compatible Galaxy devices.
The system can translate text in 22 languages and provide real-time call translation, converting spoken words into the user’s preferred language.During in-person conversations, users can also see translated text displayed on supported Galaxy smartphones, including devices in the S26 series. With the Buds4 series, Samsung is clearly aiming to blend premium audio performance with practical AI-driven features, appealing to users who want more than just music playback from their wireless earbuds. The new earbuds will be widely available beginning March 11, with preorder promotions running through March 10.
