Washington, Mar 7: Offshore gambling platforms are drawing more online interest from US users than some of the country’s major regulated operators, according to data released by analytics firm Blask.
The data, which analysed brand interest between April 2025 and January 2026, placed offshore operator Bovada at the top among gambling brands accessed by US users. The platform ranked ahead of major regulated operators such as FanDuel and DraftKings, which dominate much of the legal sports betting market in the United States.
According to the findings, BetOnline ranked second in terms of user interest, while DraftKings and FanDuel placed third and fourth respectively. Other brands in the top 10 included MyBookie, Rainbet, BetUS, Ignition Casino, Betplay and BetMGM.
Blask said the rankings reflect online search and brand engagement rather than actual wagers or revenue.The company noted that the results highlight gaps in the regulated gambling market in the US, where legal access to sports betting and online casinos varies widely from state to state.
According to Blask, platforms such as Bovada attract users partly because they operate nationwide without state-specific licensing restrictions that apply to regulated operators.
The firm added that offshore platforms often provide broader access to sportsbook and casino products in a single platform and offer alternative payment options, including cryptocurrency, which may appeal to some users.Industry observers say the data reflects ongoing challenges in the US gambling market, where regulation continues to develop unevenly across states, influencing how consumers access betting services.
