New York, July 24: Grant Thornton US has announced a series of senior leadership appointments to strengthen its technology capabilities and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across the organisation as part of its long-term digital transformation strategy.
The company has appointed Salman Taherian as Head of AI, Tom Coulis as Head of Transformation and Justin Corona as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The new leadership team will work closely with Chief Product Officer Alpa Lally to advance technology-driven innovation and enhance client services.
Taherian will lead the firm’s AI strategy, focusing on integrating artificial intelligence into business operations and client-facing services to improve efficiency, productivity and decision-making.
His role will also involve expanding AI-enabled solutions across multiple business functions.
As Head of Transformation, Coulis will oversee enterprise-wide technology adoption and organisational change initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and supporting the company’s digital evolution.
In his role as CTO, Corona will direct the firm’s overall technology strategy, including cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, data and analytics, cybersecurity and AI initiatives.
He will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s technology ecosystem supports future growth and innovation.
Grant Thornton said the appointments are part of its ongoing investment in modernising technology platforms and expanding AI capabilities.
The firm has also been investing in workforce training to equip employees with the skills needed to work with emerging technologies.
