New Delhi, Mar 25 : American rapper and singer-songwriter Travis Scott will perform in India for the first time as part of his ‘Circus Maximus World Tour’, with a concert scheduled in Delhi on October 18 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Scott announced his tour on Instagram, revealing performances in major cities across Asia and Africa, including Johannesburg, Seoul, Sanya (Hainan), and Tokyo. “JOBURG/ ASIA WE OTW SOON I WANNA SEE SOMETHING,” Scott wrote in his post.
The ticket details have not yet been declared, but based on past events, they are expected to be available on platforms like BookMyShow, District, and Paytm Insider.
A source said that over 50,000 fans are expected to attend the Delhi concert, where Scott will perform some of his biggest hits, including Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, Highest In The Room and Fein.
Fans reacted with excitement on social media, with one Instagram user commenting, “DELHI?! DELHI!!!! DELHIIII OMFG,” while another wrote, “We got FEIN in India before GTA 6.” Some expressed disappointment over Scott not performing in Mumbai, with comments such as, “Mumbai bhool gaya kya bhai?”
Scott is a prominent figure in hip-hop, specializing in lo-fi music, with over 100 charting tracks and five No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. He has won awards such as the Latin Grammy and the Billboard Music Award and has been nominated for 10 Grammys.
