Mumbai, April 3: Prime Video has officially announced the release date of Panchayat Season 4, confirming that the much-anticipated series will premiere on July 2.

The announcement was made through a promotional video featuring lead actor Jitendra Kumar, actress Gia Manek, and social media influencers Bhupendra Jogi and Darshan Magdum. The video featured humorous moments, with Manek jokingly washing books and stating that the series has taken credit for all memes on social media.

Jitendra Kumar, known for playing Abhishek in Panchayat, switched between his roles as Abhishek and Jeetu Bhai from Kota Factory, saying, “Panchayat has turned five now; where do you see yourself in five years?” before revealing that the new season would be released this year.

Fans reacted with excitement, with comments such as “Prime is doing the real multiverse of madness” and “We got this collab before GTA 6!”

Panchayat follows the journey of Abhishek, an engineering graduate who takes up a job as a Panchayat secretary in Phulera, a remote village in Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming season will see Abhishek, Pradhan Ji, and other villagers navigating new challenges and adventures.

Produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), the series is created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, written by Chandan Kumar, and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya. The returning cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha.

The series has gained a strong following, with its previous seasons being widely appreciated for their realistic storytelling and humor. Panchayat Season 4 is set to release on Prime Video on July 2.
