Jamshedpur, Oct 22: Aster DM Healthcare, Dubai, and XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia, focusing on leadership development, technology integration, and human capital advancement.
The signing took place during a leadership session titled “Catalyst of Business Growth: The New Dimensions of Technology and People,” delivered by Jacob Jacob, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Aster DM Healthcare, as part of the company’s NextGen Management Trainee Program.
Jacob discussed how the convergence of technology and human talent is reshaping business transformation and leadership effectiveness in a rapidly evolving global environment.
The MoU, signed in the presence of XLRI Director Dr. (Fr.) Sebastian George, S.J., and senior faculty members, aims to promote student engagement, knowledge sharing, and joint initiatives between the two institutions. It underscores XLRI’s emphasis on experiential learning and Aster DM Healthcare’s commitment to nurturing future business leaders.
Senior leaders from Aster DM Healthcare — including Shahed Abdul Rahiman, Head of HR Corporate & Aster Digital Health; Manish Singh, Assistant General Manager, Performance and Rewards; and Febina Abdul Rahiman, Deputy Manager, Talent Acquisition and HR — also attended the event.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion between the Aster leadership team and XLRI’s PGDM(GM) students on leveraging technology and people-centric strategies to drive sustainable growth and leadership excellence.
