Development projects worth ₹38 lakh begin in Jamshedpur East

Jamshedpur, Nov 19: MLA Purnima Sahu on Wednesday launched several development projects worth about ₹38 lakh in Baridih under the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency.

The newly initiated projects are likely to strengthen the area’s basic infrastructure. The projects include renovation of the Andhra Sangam Club in Sidgora, construction of an entrance arch at the Santhal Jaher Sthan near Bara Flat, building of a Manjhi Sthan and a paver-block road, drainage construction from Bablu Pandey’s house to KP Srivastava’s house near Bagunnagar TOP Ground.

It also includes installation of two sheds at the Agrico Transport Ground.

During the launch, locals praised the MLA for her active role and dedication towards development. They reckoned that several parts of the constituency has seen tremendous progress in the recent months.

Meanwhile, the Santhal community members welcomed the MLA in a traditional way.

During the launch, MLA Sahu said that many important and pending works in the constituency have been identified which will be completed on priority.

She added that ensuring basic facilities in every area of her constituency is her top-most priority.
