Ranchi, Sep 2: Arpita Mahila Mandal, CCL, has provided vegetable and chaat carts to 32 needy beneficiaries as part of an initiative aimed at promoting self-employment and economic empowerment.
The welfare programme was organised on Wednesday under the guidance of Mrs Preeti Singh, President, Arpita Mahila Mandal, CCL, Ranchi, with the active support of the Vice President, headquarters team and all 15 Mahila Samitis.
The carts are intended to help beneficiaries start small businesses and earn a dignified livelihood. Along with the self-employment support, the organisation also distributed grocery bags and food packets to provide immediate assistance.
Speaking on the occasion, Preeti Singh said the organisation’s objective was not limited to providing immediate relief but also to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for needy people.
“The organisation’s objective is not only to provide immediate assistance to needy people but also to empower them by creating opportunities for self-employment,” she said.
She added, “Even a small business started at the grassroots level can become the foundation of a sustainable livelihood and a better future for a family.”
The active participation of all 15 Mahila Samitis highlighted the organisation’s commitment to service, cooperation and social responsibility.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the assistance, saying the carts would enable them to start their own businesses and support their families through a dignified livelihood.
“The carts and other assistance would provide them with an opportunity to start their own businesses and earn a dignified livelihood for their families,” they said, describing the support as “an important step towards self-reliance.”
The initiative reflects Arpita Mahila Mandal’s focus on service, compassion, empowerment and self-reliance, combining immediate assistance with long-term livelihood support for vulnerable sections of society.
