Ranchi, May 28: Senior IAS Vinay Choubey and assistant commissioner excise department Gajendra Singh will be grilled by anti-corruption bureau (ACB) for two-days in connection with their alleged involvement in liquor scam.
Both were arrested by ACB during a probe into liquor scam.
On Wednesday, the ACB had requested the special court of ACB to allow the interrogation of Vinay Chaubey and Gajendra Singh by taking them on remand for two days.
Vinay Chaubey’s lawyers had opposed the ACB’s demand for remand. ACB had sought seven days’ remand. But the court has allowed two days’ remand. Now IAS Vinay Chaubey and Gajendra Singh will have to answer the questions of ACB for two days. Currently, Vinay Chaubey and Gajendra Singh are in judicial custody.
