Healthcare firm Gujarat kidney & super speciality to launch IPO on Dec 22

Ahmedabad, Dec 16: Gujarat Kidney & Super Speciality Ltd, a regional healthcare services provider, will open its initial public offering (IPO) for subscription on December 22, 2025, with the issue closing on December 24 the company said.

The company has fixed the price band at ₹108 to ₹114 per equity share of face value ₹2. The ₹250.8-crore IPO comprises entirely a fresh issue of 2.20 crore shares, with no offer for sale component.

The issue is being made through the book-building route. Of the net issue 75 per cent has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) 15 per cent for non-institutional investors (NIIs) and the remaining 10 per cent for retail individual investors (RIIs). Investors can bid for a minimum of 128 shares and in multiples thereof.

The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on December 26, while the shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE and NSE on December 30, 2025, subject to regulatory approvals. Nirbhay Capital Services Private Limited is the book running lead manager to the issue, and MUFG Intime India Limited is the registrar.

According to market trackers, the shares are currently not trading in the grey market, indicating a grey market premium (GMP) of zero.

Use of proceeds

The company said the funds raised through the IPO will be used for acquiring Parekhs Hospital Private Limited in Ahmedabad, making a partial payment for the already acquired Ashwini Medical Centre, and increasing its stake in subsidiary Harmony Medicare Pvt Ltd in Bharuch. Proceeds will also be utilised for capital expenditure towards setting up a dedicated women’s healthcare hospital in Vadodara, purchase of robotic medical equipment, reduction of debt, inorganic expansion through future acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

Gujarat Kidney & Super Speciality is a Gujarat-based regional healthcare provider focused on secondary and tertiary care. It operates a network of seven multi-speciality hospitals and four in-hospital pharmacies across Vadodara, Bharuch, Godhra, Borsad and Anand, with a total bed capacity of 490 beds, of which 340 are operational. The company caters largely to under-penetrated healthcare markets, offering affordable medical services.

Financials

For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, the company reported revenue from operations of ₹40.24 crore and a net profit of ₹9.49 crore. In the quarter ended June 30, 2025, revenue stood at ₹15.26 crore, while net profit rose to ₹5.40 crore, reflecting improved profitability.
