The accused, Ashar Danish, a resident of Petarwar in Bokaro, was picked up from Tabrak Lodge in Islamnagar, where he had been staying for a long time. Several electronic devices were seized, and Danish will now be taken to Delhi on remand for further interrogation.

Also on Wednesday, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Aftab, a resident of Mumbai, from Delhi. His detention is part of a larger anti-terror crackdown that has seen raids at more than 12 locations across multiple states. Over eight suspects have already been taken into custody as the operation continues.
Meanwhile, in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, 22-year-old Gulsher Alam alias Munna was detained from Islamganj under Hussainabad police station limits. He was released after hours of questioning but as per sources, he may be summoned again if the situation demands.
Officials have reportedly said that the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are on cards as both central and state agencies have intensified action against suspected ISIS networks.
