Ranchi, May 15: State executive member and district secretary of Communist Party of India (CPI) Ajay Singh has expressed concern over the supply of fake medicines in MSCH Hospital of Palamu.

He has alleged that 18 out of 20 medicines in Palamu hospitals were found to be fake in the investigation, despite this the Civil Surgeon Palamu gave a clean chit to the supplier.

Ajay Singh said that this clearly shows the collusion of the civil surgeon and the hospital superintendent.

The CPI leader has demanded that an FIR should be registered against the supplier, who supplied the fake medicine, and the guilty officials.

He said that the Hemant government should take cognizance of this act and take legal action against the drug mafia. Ajay Singh said that those who play with the lives of the people of the state should not be spared.
